Who We Are
History
The Lipa Later foundation, founded in 2023, is a youth and vulnerable population centered organization, established with the overall goal to ethically empower youth and underserved communities through education, entrepreneurial skill building and financial inclusion.
This will be achieved through traditional education programs, entrepreneurial-focused programs and internships for the youth in addition to financial literacy classes, conditional cash transfer programs and accessibility options.
Impacting change
The Lipa Later Foundation recently celebrated a significant milestone by successfully supporting the education of two underprivileged boys from Form One through the completion of secondary school.
Featured Initiatives
The LLF Scholars Fund
The Goal of the education Pillar Under LLF is to ensure high school children (Junior and Senior Secondary) can receive an education without barriers to access.
Entrepreneurial Program
The Overall goal of the Entrepreneurial program is to reduce unemployment rates, by funding 23 innovative start-ups and by providing paid internship opportunities to 50 youth a year as a stepping stone to further employment.
Financial Inclusion
Program
The financial inclusion pillar will work to support financial literacy and access among Kenyan youth, particularly vulnerable populations such as women, at-risk youth and persons with disabilities.
