Bio
A seasoned author, lawyer & judiciary policy reform architect. Founder and Managing Partner of Crevit Mulier & Co., a legal bureau uniquely positioned to uphold the rule of law, advance judicial administration reform and access to justice by leveraging innovation and technology. The bureau spearheaded Kenya’s first-ever national therapeutic jurisprudence & trauma-informed training in collaboration with the Kenya Judiciary Academy, training over 1250 judges, magistrates, and kadhis, including the esteemed Supreme Court of Kenya; and Kenya’s inaugural principle of of gendered crime & climate change.
As an Advisor to the Republic of Kenya at the United Nations Security Council in New York, Lanji heads the Chronology Project of Kenya’s tenure at the council and additionally addresses gendered crimes, climate change’s intersection with security, and financing for peace-building.
Concurrently, she serves as the Director of Global Affairs at the Office of the President’s Women’s Rights Advisor, overseeing international initiatives and policies aimed at advancing and promoting Kenyan women’s rights on a global scale.
Her designation as an African Union Fellow, signifies more than a personal honor; it embodies her deep commitment to advocating for justice, equity, and peace, not only within the African continent but additionally on the global stage. In her capacity as a board member, she brings a wealth of expertise in community-led strategies, further fortifying her dedication to advancing meaningful and inclusive initiatives.
